On Monday morning, following the grand Diwali celebrations in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the holy site to pay his respects to Lord Shri Ram Lalla.
Prior to this, he made a stop at the Hanuman Garhi temple, where he performed rituals and prayers for the prosperity and well-being of the people of the state.
According to an official statement, Yogi also met with the temple's chief priest, Mahant Premdas. The temple complex resonated with the chants of 'Jai Shri Ram' upon his arrival, as saints and priests welcomed him in traditional fashion.
After leaving Hanuman Garhi, the Chief Minister proceeded directly to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex. There, he offered prayers and performed the Aarti before taking a circumambulation of the temple.
In the Ram Darbar, he continued his prayers for the state's progress and the welfare of its citizens. As he exited the temple complex, devotees greeted him with cheers, and he acknowledged their affection by waving and blessing the children present.
